Black Bagpipe practice Chanter

Our Bagpipe Chanter Practice is a woodwind instrument that incorporates two reeds. It is specifically designed for beginners, featuring a two-part construction made from either wood or synthetic materials. The practice chanter consists of a small-diameter hole bored lengthwise through its center, serving as the connection point for the two pieces and allowing for the insertion of a reed. By blowing air into the mouthpiece, the air travels towards the center of the practice chanter, passing through the reed and generating vibrations that produce sound. At the lower end of the chanter, there are finger holes that can be manipulated to adjust the pitch of the sound. The primary purpose of this instrument is to aid in the development of finger dexterity for playing various bagpipe melodies, as implied by its name.
