The colorful military uniforms worn by hussars throughout the 1700s and beyond took inspiration from the prevailing fashion trends of Hungary during that time. Crafting the unique uniforms for the "hussars of the marine" has always been an enjoyable endeavor, and this time we proudly present a simple mate-lot design. The New Handmade Hussars were renowned as daring soldiers, although their conduct could sometimes be unruly. Traditionally depicted as audacious, hard-drinking, and charismatic womanizers with impressive mustaches, European hussars typically maintained long moustaches while eschewing beards. Their long hair was styled with two plaits in front of the ears and a longer queue at the back, a hairstyle they continued to embrace even after other regiments had moved on to shorter haircuts.
